About me
Hi! I am a Senior Researcher for a major UK think tank, which I have been doing for two years. Before doing this, I studied philosophy at the University of Oxford. To study, I received the generous Crankstart Graduate Scholarship for academic excellence. While studying, I sat at the editorial board of the Journal of the Oxford Graduate Theological Society and worked as the Treasurer of the Blackfriars Graduate Common Room Student Union.
For my A-Levels, I did mathematics, economics, and religious studies, and got A*s in all of them. I won a few awards in Sixth Form, such as the Senior Mathematical Challenge Silver Award, or the WCIB Essay Competition Runner-Up Prize. Before Sixth Form, I also won the Gold Award in the Intermediate Mathematical Challenge three times and was twice re-elected Head of my Student Council.
I have already worked as a teaching assistant at a Saturday school (ages eleven to sixteen), as a Student Ambassador for the University of Oxford (Oxford interview and admission help), and as a maths tutor for a few years (GCSE and A-Level) for a few years, but besides that, I always enjoyed explaining things to my friends and colleagues. I even remember that back in sixth form my philosophy teacher had me run the revision sessions in her absence!
