About me
I am passionate about giving young people the ability to excel in life, through informal education and soft skills training. I believe that it was soft skills as well as academic rigour which allowed me to succeed academically at the University of Cambridge and in my professional life, and I want to pass those skills on to the next generation.
I have extensive experience in the informal education sector: I ran group activities for international participants aged 13 to 18 on an educational programme at the University of Cambridge in my role as an Activities Leader. As a Youth Leader, I planned and ran three two-week residential summer camps for 10-14 year-olds. My role involved designing and delivering educational programmes on social issues, running sports and adventure activities, mentoring and organising other leaders as a Senior Leader, and being personally responsible for the welfare of young people with difficult behavioural issues.
I graduated from the University of Cambridge three years ago, with a high 2.i degree in Law. This included first class marks in several papers, as well as a high First Class mark of 75 in my dissertation.
