About me
Hello, my name is Euan Dawson. I am from Scotland and specialise in teaching Economics and Maths. I have an undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of Edinburgh, and I am currently studying for a master’s degree in Health Economics from the London School of Economics. I achieved straight A’s in all school level qualifications at GCSE and A-level, notably receiving the Dux of my school for achieving a 94% average across my final A-level exams in Maths, Economics, and Statistics. I have previously tutored maths to students helping them achieve high grades at A-level and GCSE level, owing to my enthusiasm for the subject and engaging lesson plans that are interactive and effective at achieving success.
I have an in-depth understand about the formula that is necessary for success at school level subjects and will help you to understand this by adapting to your learning style. My ethos to tutoring revolves around a standard of excellence and passion for my own work which I hope will transfer to the student during the lessons.
A bit about me!
My main interests include golf, football, travelling, and chess. Although my football teams often let me down (Manchester United and Scotland!), my proudest achievement was reaching a 2000 rating in chess and competing in international tournaments for Scotland.
