My name is Verity and I am from the UK. I have recently graduated from University of Oxford with a high 2.i in French and Linguistics, including an academic scholarship for my performance in first year exams as well as achieving multiple first class papers in my final year exams. Previous to this, I studied French, History, and English language A level achieving all A grades and 11 A* or equivalents at GCSE. I have tutored before at GCSE level for English, Science and Maths both privately and in a voluntary capacity at my secondary school. In addition I have tutored students for English, French and History A level. Elsewhere, I have extensive experience working with children as I was a leader within Girlguiding UK for over 4 years working with children aged 5-10 years of age. In addition, I worked as an Instructor at an outdoor activity centre for 3 years, leading school groups and children’s parties so I am able to effectively engage children and encourage them to participate.
