About me

Hi! My name is William and I’m a student living in the UK. I currently find myself going into the fourth year of my degree, studying physics at the University of Oxford, where thus far, I have achieved a strong first with 84% on my first set of examinations. Before that, I attended Warwick School, obtaining 11A*s at GCSE and 4A*s at A-level.

I have a strong passion for teaching and passing on my knowledge and experiences to a younger generation. Whilst at school, I was a key member of the tutoring societies, leading both the Maths and Physics mentor schemes. Moreover, I have done a substantial amount of private tutoring, honing my teaching style by working with students of all ages and abilities across a variety of subjects.

Away from the classroom, I am an avid rugby player, captaining my school team for 5 years. My leadership credentials extend further where I was elected Chairman of the main college student body in my first year at university and also Head Boy in my final year at school. Finally, I enjoy volunteering in my local community, exemplified by my involvement in the COVID-19 response group as a ‘street champion’, distributing food parcels and prescriptions.
