About me

Hello, my name is Dee, and I love teaching! With a master’s in Education from Cambridge University, I hold over 500+ teaching hours of private tutoring, Oxbridge Admissions prep, as well as 3 years’ experience teaching international students for the University, and as a zoo educator in the US and UK. I am honoured to serve Tutor Impact UK in ways to further students’ intellectual and emotional growth. I hold a Bachelors (honours) in International Relations from Johns Hopkins University.

An environmental steward, I created/founded the first youth junior board for land trusts, which helped earn me a U.S. Congressional Award gold medal for my volunteering efforts. Recently, I finished my second masters in Animal Welfare and Conservation from Writtle University.

At home, I run my own tie-dye business and have converted a campervan to an off-grid sustainable home with solar panels and running water. I serve my community by offering free karaoke discos as a DJ for child patients at my hospital, and I am a founding member of a local free roller-skating club.

I aspire to bring my values of integrity, kindness, and fun to every lesson and look forward to learning from my students as well.
