MEng Engineering
About me
Hi, my name is Timothy. I graduated from the University of Cambridge with a First Class Honours in Mechanical Engineering. Right now, I work as a Research and Development Engineer for Caterpillar. My abilities as an engineer have been recognised by the IET who awarded me a Diamond Jubilee Scholarship and the WCSIM guild in London who I have been ‘apprenticed’ to. I enjoy going beyond course content which is demonstrated by my track record in the Mathematics and Physics challenges and their respective Olympiads.
I have previously delivered STEM project-based learning courses to teach coding in context. The experience gained from tutoring students between the ages of 9 and 17 years old has taught me how to cater to the needs of each age group.
I am currently a mentor for prospective engineering students. I have been guiding them through the application process for top UK Universities.
