About me
My name is Anna Bregstein. I am Spanish and Danish and grew up in southern Spain, attending a British International School. I am fluent in Spanish, English and Danish and speak an advanced level of German. In school, I was an A* student and secured numerous awards.
It was in this school that I discovered my love for public speaking and debating, so decided to embark upon a legal career. I studied my undergraduate degree at Emmanuel College, the University of Cambridge, and a postgraduate degree in public international law at the London School of Economics and Political Sciences. This year I will be starting the Bar Practice Course, at the University of Law in Bloomsbury, London, on a scholarship granted to me by Gray’s Inn.
I have always had a passion for teaching. In school, I volunteered at a summer camp, teaching 3–6-year-olds Spanish and English. Recently, I have volunteered for two charities - The Access Project, which assists underprivileged children, and Salisbury World, which helps refugee children learn English.
Academics aside, I have been a dancer from the age of five. I also love to travel as much as I can, and I am a certified advanced scuba-diver and underwater photographer.
