MPhil, BA Theology, Religion and Philosophy of Religion

About me

I studied at Eton College for 5 years. Here I received A stars in all my GCSE/IGCSE’s (Maths, English literature, English language, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, French, Geography, History, Divinity and Latin) and in all my A Levels (Theology, Geography and Ancient History). I also ran the school’s Philosophy society and was on the Geographic committee. Outside the classroom, I was made Prefect, captained the Water-polo team and the rugby VII’s team, who I led into the national final at Rosslyn Park.

Leaving Eton, I applied to work as a teacher at St. John’s Beaumont Preparatory School in Old Windsor. I worked here for six months as a teaching assistant, teaching boys from ages 3-13 - many of whom hoped to gain places at top secondary schools such as Eton and Harrow.

I began studying Theology, Religion and Philosophy of Religion at the University of Cambridge in 2018. During my time at university, I remained committed to various extra-curricular activities, I was elected as President of the Emmanuel College Rugby Club (ECRFC), Treasurer of the Cambridge Advertising and Marketing Society (CAMsoc) and as Emmanuel College representative for the Cambridge University Human Rights Law Society (CUHRLS). After my final exams, I graduated from Cambridge in the summer of 2021 with First Class Honours, finishing third in my year group.

Currently, I am studying towards an MPhil in Theology and Philosophy at the University of Cambridge, I will graduate in the summer of 2022.

I am hoping to do a law conversion at BPP when I graduate next year. Seeking to gain legal experience I recently completed a mini pupillage with Max Hardy, shadowing his prosecution of a kidnapping case.

Using the time created by the COVID pandemic, I have attained an additional qualification in Teaching English as a Foreign Language.
