Hello!
My name is Mark, and I’m originally from County Durham in the United Kingdom. I recently graduated with a doctorate in philosophy from the Univer sity of Oxford, having previously completed a master’s degree (also at Oxford) and a first-class bachelor’s degree from the University of Cambridge, where I won the Corpus Prize and a Foundation Scholarship for outstanding academic achievement. I took my A levels in English Literature, French and Religious Studies, achieving above 95% in all three.
I started tutoring ten years ago, and have since helped dozens of students—from primary school children to postgraduates— achieve their learning goals. Though a philosopher by training, I have broad intellectual interests and enjoy teaching across a range of subjects, as well as sharing the study and research skills I’ve honed over my academic career.
I believe that tutoring, at its best, can be truly inspirational, and aspire to provide that experience for every one of my students. I’m looking forward to hearing from you!
