Hi! My name is Monaly Depala and I am a first-year doctoral student at Imperial College London. I have just completed my master’s in chemistry and have graduated with a first. I have almost been a tutor here for a year and I am thoroughly enjoying this tutoring experience. I was born in London, however, my heritage is Indian and I actually spoke Gujurati before English. Even though I love STEM, I have a passion for languages and I also can speak French and Japanese to a moderate extent. Asides from studying, I really enjoy reading and music, I have a grade 5 in the flute, and listen to podcasts about words – Something Rhymes With Purple (highly recommend). I’ve always been passionate when it comes to education and I would love the opportunity to be able to share my enthusiasm and inspire others too.
