I have recently completed a degree in English Language and Literature at the University of Oxford. I have been tutoring students between 13 and 18 years old since 2016, from private tutoring to teaching classes of up to 20 students abroad. This has included tutoring for external examinations as well as simply encouraging students’ ability, confidence, and enjoyment of the subject. Everyone’s learning journey is individual and unique, and I tailor my sessions to my students' needs and concerns, coming to a consensus together on their areas of weakness, whether that’s literary analysis or writing essays, and how to structure our time. As a tutor, I develop my own lesson plans and learning resources for each student, including materials to explore in between sessions.
